After a resounding success in 2013, Chadlington Apple Day will return on Saturday 18th October 2014 and is set to be a fixture on the annual calendar for years to come. Apple Day is a British calendar event celebrated on, or as close as possible to, the 21st October. It was launched in 1990 as a way of celebrating the wonderful array of British apple varieties.
Chadlington is one of the few Cotswold villages to celebrate Apple Day and we intend to take the celebration of the apple to new levels. From a hog roast and oodles of home-made apple sauce, to apple cider, apple craft and apple-inspired games for the children, and more apple puns than you can poke a stick at, Chadlington Apple Day really is marvellous to the core.
