Changes to local bus and train services

The subsidised X9 service between Chipping Norton and Witney ceased operating from 20th July, and now a  less frequent service is being operated by Pulham’s coaches. See the bus stop on Harvey’s Corner for more information.

Although there are fewer buses on the timetable, there is a bus coming through the village nine times a day, from 6.48 to 17.43 towards Charlbury and Witney; and seven times a day towards Chipping Norton from 9.23 to 18.08 from Mondays to Fridays. As this is a commercial service it is important to keep using the buses so the service is retained.

There will be major engineering work between Hanborough and Didcot during the summer and a temporary timetable will be in operation, including a replacement bus service between Hanborough/Oxford and Didcot.

Please see the train operator’s website for more information https://www.gwr.com/travel-updates/planned-engineering
