New Councillor comes on board

Following the resignation of Liz Woolcock after many years’ service on the Parish Council, a new councillor has come forward to fill the vacancy. Nicola Lloyd probably needs little introduction, as she edits this website. So, declaring an interest, she handed the job of presenting her credentials to a fellow-councillor, who writes:
“Nicky has lived in Oxfordshire for the past 30 years, first in Witney before moving to Chadlington.  She worked at Oxfordshire County Council and Oxford City Council, as well as at the charity Action with Communities in Rural England (ACRE), the Countryside Agency and Commission for Rural Communities. She also worked in market research, managing the Rural Services Survey of 10,000 parish councils.  As such, she’s ideally placed to fill the gap left by Liz’s departure, and the Parish Council hopes to benefit from her wide understanding of rural issues for many years to come.”
