Annual Parish Meeting report

The Chadlington Annual Parish meeting took place on 14th May and each councillor gave reports on different aspects of the Parish Council’s work in the village. The topics covered included allotments, the playground, Memorial Hall improvements, the Speedwatch project and parish planning.

The full reports from the meeting have been published on the village website Parish Council page.

Councillor Brian Hamblin, a past Council Chair has stepped down. An appreciation of Brian’s contribution to the village appears in the latest Parish Magazine. There will be a vacancy for a new councillor. For more information, see the village notice board opposite Café de la Post or contact the Parish Clerk

The Speedwatch project had six willing and able volunteers covering sessions throughout last summer and autumn. There was a definite deterrent effect slowing down traffic in the village. But for the project to continue successfully there is a need for more volunteers.
