New booklet on Chadlington men who went to fight in the First World War now available

A booklet to mark the hundredth anniversary of the end of the First World War is now available for sale at the Café de la Post and Chadlington Quality Foods.

The booklet tells the story of the seven Chadlington men who died in WW1 whose names are listed on the War Memorial plaques in St Nicholas Church and the Memorial Hall.

Also included are stories of three Chadlington men and one horse who served in WW1 and returned.

Copies cost £5 each, and all profits will go to the Royal British Legion.
