Care for a Curry?

Planning a takeaway this weekend, or sometime soon?

Whether you make it, fake it, or ‘take it away’, Chadlington residents are invited to be part of the fundraising Care for a Curry campaign this month.

It’s all in aid of Katharine House Hospice, providing specialist palliative care for adults with life limiting conditions across North Oxfordshire, South Northamptonshire & South Warwickshire.

‘Choose a date and location between now and December 1st 2018 and gather your family and friends for a great evening of curry and fun,’says Nina Baker, Community and Events Fundraising Officer.

‘Simply drop us an email to let us know you’ll be holding your curry evening, and then download your free party pack with hints, tips, goodies and great curry recipes from around the world.’

Nina’s keen to let us know about another popular fundraising event for Katharine House–the Santa Fun Run on Sunday December 2nd.

‘It’s at 10 am at Wykham Park Academy in Banbury, and you can choose from a 5km or a 1km route.’

The Hospice is aiming to raise £25,000–enough to fund the inpatient unit for five days over Christmas.

‘With music, children’s activities and refreshments, the Santa Fun Run is sure to get you in the Christmas spirit,’ promises Nina.
