Chadlington to host EU leaders

The Editor has received a message that Jean-Claude Junker and Michel Barnier are planning a relaxing cycling holiday in this part of the Cotswolds to recover from many months of hard bargaining with Britain over Brexit. They do not plan to run through any wheat fields while passing through Enstone but hope for a leisurely ride through the countryside.

A spokesperson said “Jean-Claude and Michel are keen to show how much they love Britain by spending their holiday here. They have chosen Chadlington as their pitstop (not backstop) so they can enjoy the famous gateau de carotte at the Cafe de la Post because it sounds so European.”
