Bull Hill Silt Traps cleared

At the Parish Council meeting in May, a local farmer flagged up that the silt traps on the brook, which are designed to prevent flooding at Brook End, were blocked and urgently needed clearing. So our local district councillor, Neil Owen, the Environment Agency and local volunteer Adrian Tremlett worked together to arrange for contractors to do this work at the end of July. Thanks are due to all who have helped to avoid damage to nearby properties should the brook flood in this unpredictable and sometimes extreme weather.
