Have your say on transport in Oxfordshire

Want to make a comment about transport around the county for this latest consultation from Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) on their next Local Transport Plan (LTP4)?

There are a number of ways for you to have your say, including a series of public events being run by OCC.

Information from Oxfordshire County Council

“Original OCC email from Cllr Ian Hudspeth, Leader of Oxfordshire County Council

In April, I outlined my vision for a transport network of the future that would support economic growth at event called Connecting Oxfordshire. This was widely reported in the media and has started a lively public debate on ‘blue skies’ thinking about trams and monorail. You can find out more here.

I am now writing let you know about a series of public events to discuss the future of transport and needs of different parts of the county.

The aim is to set out the vision in a similar way to the Oxford event but tailored to each locality. Each event will also allow people to contribute to the next local transport plan (LTP4), which is currently being written.

I would like to invite you to attend any of these meetings that you wish to, and also to circulate the dates to interested parties. We will be publicising the dates more widely shortly, with some background information on the issues that we hope to discuss.

Best wishes

Cllr Ian Hudspeth,  Leader, Oxfordshire County Council

Further to the email above, please visit the Connecting Oxfordshire pages of our website for more information ahead of the events.

The Local Transport Plan 4 (LTP4) consultation is online here, or have your say on facebook or twitter using the hashtag #connectingoxfordshire.

Even if you are unable to attend an event, we would still like to hear from you and the consultation is open to everyone.”
