Go ahead for Memorial Hall car park

The Village Hall Committee and Parish Council are delighted to announce that their application for a grant to pay for part of the cost of levelling and re-surfacing the village hall car park has been successful.

The car park of Chadlington Memorial Hall has become potholed and in poor condition making it potentially unsafe for elderly or disabled users. As Sue said “…now we can ensure it is resurfaced and improved which will have a major impact on the Hall generally and even attract more users.”

Work on the facility has been estimated at more than £20,000 but the target has now been achieved with contributions from funds raised by the Memorial Hall committee, the Parish Council and the WODC Facilities Grant.
