Bull Hill Silt Traps cleared

At the Parish Council meeting in May, a local farmer flagged up that the silt traps on the brook, which are designed to prevent flooding at Brook End, were blocked and urgently needed clearing. Grants Available from Diplock Charity

People of all ages living in Chadlington can apply for grants from the Diplock Charity. This is a Chadlington based trust which provides financial aid to individuals or groups facing hardship in the village. Moon Puts on a show for Lunar Landing Anniversary

  This week marks the 50th Anniversary of the first lunar landing, when Apollo 11 module ‘Eagle’, with Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong aboard, landed on the moon’s surface in 1969. Remarkably there was also a partial lunar eclipse this week, clearly seen from the village, on Tuesday evening.
