‘Driven:the Billy Monger Story’ film in Churchill

 This special showing of a BAFTA nominated biopic about a promising 17 year old racing driver who lost his legs in a crash but was determined to race again. 

The short film (60 minutes) will be preceded by a glass of wine at 7.15 p.m. then followed by a question and answer session with Caroline Hawkins, a Churchill resident, who is the Executive Director of the film.

Proceeds from the event and donations will be given to Legs for Africa a charity which recycles prosthetics to amputees in African countries.

The 16th Chadlington Beer Festival is on the first Saturday in June this year.
The event will feature beer, cider, lager, wine, Pimms, gin, live music, BBQ, tea tent and kid’s activities.
Gate price includes a Festival Glass, programme and two drink tokens.  Non-beer drinkers are free. Children’s entry is £3 which includes unlimited free activities (except face painting).
Charity Midnight Walk

Everyone is welcome to join the Katharine House Hospice Midnight Walk. We’ll be celebrating all things Flower Power on our 6 and 10 mile sponsored walk. Get your hippy gear on and join this event to raise money for an important cause. There will be a bar, food and lots of great activities before the walk!

Registration opens at 7.30pm and the 6 mile and 10 mile walks will start at 9pm. Early bird registration is available until 7 May.
